As you can see, we have a premiere day and time for "The Next Doctor", the latest episode in the Doctor Who saga. Christmas Day at 6PM GMT. 1 hour episode. The start of BBC's Christmas night festivities. The countdown commences. |

As for Doctor Who At The Proms, the concert recorded in July, most viewers will get to see it on BBC One on New Years Day at 1:50PM GMT. Now, the BBC HD station has it scheduled several times, including 2 airings in December. If so, this would be 1) the first ever true Doctor Who HD installment (even if it is a concert instead of an episode) and 2) a situation where those with BBC HD can see the concert up to 11 days early. |

There is currently no listing for a Doctor Who Confidential episode to tie in with The Next Doctor. I fully expect that there will be a Confidential on BBC Three - their Christmas schedule is very tentative. |

This Monday, at 5:15PM GMT on the CBBC channel - the Sarah Jane Adventures Series 2 finale! With Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (retired). BBC One viewers get part 1 at 4:35PM that day, with part 2 one week later. |

CBC TV Canada will air Journey's End, the 4th Series finale - this Friday at 9PM (9:30PM Newfoundland). One slight problem - the time slot is 60 minutes including 16 minutes or so of commercials. The episode is a tad over 63 minutes uncut. So either there will be a last minute decision to extend the show or the Canadian broadcast will be heavily edited. Sorry Canada. |

SciFi Netherlands is finishing Series 3 of Doctor Who this week. Voyage Of The Damned airs next week, then new episodes stop for a while. |
